Matthew Eaton is a former Sloss Metal Arts Foundry Programs Coordinator and a contemporary sculptor, printmaker and art educator who is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New Mexico Highlands University, a Professional Printers’ Certificate from the Tamarind Institute, a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts in Art Education from the University of New Mexico. His sculptural work is rooted in the contemporary cast iron art movement.
